Turnkey Project In Blainville

c2This stunning reconstruction project in Blainville was originally completed only 6 years ago by another contractor. The clients were not satisfied with the work and they were having major problems with their pool. Enter Groupe Paramount! Working in collaboration with an independent Landscape Architect, Richard Belisle, our in house 3D Modeller, Mathieu Bédard, was able to propose the final design for this property.  The Paramount team transformed the botched backyard into a relaxing summer oasis. This turnkey backyard is perfect to spend quality time with family and friends.

Île Perrot Home’s Sublime Infinity Pool

Ile Perrot Infinity PoolThe view from this Île Perrot oasis is hard to beat. The infinity pool was designed to look like it flows right into the Lac des Deux – Montagnes! The pool was placed outside the covered patio and between two magnificent mature trees that have graced this waterfront property for many years.

To stay in tune with nature, we used Techo-Bloc’s Aberdeen man made stone in Rock Garden Brown for the pool surround and multiple terraces and the Quebec-quarried St. Marc limestone which was bush hammered for the pool caps.
When looking towards the house, the pool looks completely different. The infinity ledge was built with the same stone that was used on the house. The planting around the pool was kept at a minimum in order to keep the focus on the glittering water that seemingly flows into the lake! Beautiful.

Baie D’Urfé Private Oasis

172_8x12anna&rosspool12This beautiful Baie d’Urfé home is surrounded by nature that provides total privacy for the backyard. In order to soften the look  of the extra large pool, we built a planter around the perimeter of the pool and planted boxwoods placed at the pools edge, creating a haven for swimmers. The sleek main pool is 20′ by 65′ and there are steps that lead up to a 20′ by 20′ sun deck which is enjoyed by adults and toddlers alike. A spillover was built into the pool which not only looks beautiful but also provides the sound of rushing water which is so relaxing! At night the pool turn178ps_anna&rosspool12s into a twilight oasis, with gorgeous coloured lights that brighten up the water and highlights this amazing pool. The pool and landscaping at this home were designed to be in harmony with it’s natural surroundings.

Beaconsfield Home’s Reflection Pool & Lounge Area

This Beaconsfield backyard has two main components; two dining/lounge areas and a beautiful pool! One of the dining/lounge areas is right off the kitchen – a covered area with screens to protect from unwanted bugs. Beyond this is another outdoor patio where you can dine and gaze at the stars! For this patio, we used Techo-Bloc’s smooth Blu Grande stone in Shale Grey which was laid down symmetrically in a long rectangular shape with artificial turf between each stonBeaconsfield Backyard Featuring Reflection Pool and a Dining/Patio Areae. It gave the space some much needed greenery that softened the look, all the while keeping maintenance down to a minimum.

The reflection pool turns the modest square footage into a serene getaway. For the pool surround, we used Techo Bloc’s Blu Grande stone in Shale Grey laid down in a linear pattern to give the space a lengthy and large look.

The backyard is compact; the landscaping was designed to maximize the space and give our clients the entertainment area of a large backyard!

Infinity Pool in Senneville

_MG_6525This Senneville home is stunning, and Groupe Paramount is proud to have been chosen to do the landscaping for the 2 acre lot that sits on the Lake of Two Mountains. The clients put an addition and did large scale renovations to the existing estate, the home now has all modern conveniences and is truly beautiful.
The planning for this landscape project was extensive!  The 40′ by 20′ foot long concrete infinity pool has a hot tub on one end, a tanning ledge on the other end and steps that run the length of the pool in between.
The infinity drop, which is 4′ feet high, runs _MG_6477the whole length of the pool. The tile used on the drop is the same colour as the inside of the pool, this gives the pool the appearance that it has a glass front and that you can look right through the pool! It was designed so the upper terrace is level with the pool, this allows the best view of the lake from both pool and upper terrace. The pool is incredible during the day and even more beautiful when the sun sets and the pool lights up in phenomenal fashion. The pool and light functions are fully automated and controlled by the clients with their mobile devices.
home-designSurrounding the pool and creating the large terraces, is hand cut St. Marc in a brick pattern. This surface leads into the outdoor kitchen and pool house. Stepping down from the large upper terrace there is a checkerboard pattern of grass and stone, where there is more seating for those who want to enjoy the lake and all the while hear the sound of the pool water cascading down. What wonderful sight and sound!

Saint-Laurent Contemporary Pool

This Saint-Laurent home is a perfect example of how you can create a beautiful outdoor space in a small urban setting. To maximize the size of the pool, it was designed in a rectangular shape that gives it clean lines and the large steps in the pool establish a wide & inviting opening. To complement the pool, we laid St. Marc limestone, quarried in Québec, in a linear brick pattern to give the small space a large look & feel. A more affordable option, which gives the same overall look, is to use a man-made linear cut stone. The clients oversized planters give the space height which also expands the impression of the terrace. Tall cedars were planted around the perimeter of the property to give some much needed privacy. Our professional team is ready to plan your backyard oasis, whether big or small!
